What I Do

My name is David Schulmann,
I am an artist from Zurich.
I am fully dedicated to the art of creation,
whether it’s on canvas or on skin.
Whether singing alone in the shower
or rapping into a microphone,
I express myself.

It’s all about showing how beautiful it can be
to simply let go,
without knowing what the result will be.
To embrace oneself and consciously experience every creative impulse
that flows through the veins.

How I Do It

In addition to my artistic work, I have also gained extensive experience in textiles and fashion awareness. These experiences help me develop a keen eye for colors, shapes, and trends. My craftsmanship, along with my friendly and polite demeanor, allows me to remain calm and focused, even in stressful situations. Through my perseverance and creativity, I am able to give my best in both art and my other endeavors.

Painting

I paint in the abstract and expressionist style, strongly guided by emotions and the atmosphere of the moment. My works combine bold, vibrant colors with textured brushstrokes to create movement and depth. I often play with contrasts by blending organic shapes or figures with abstract elements. Each piece tells its own story, which is not always clearly defined, leaving room for interpretation. The harmony of colors, textures, and lines is at the heart of my creative process.

Tattoos

My tattoos are a blend of abstract and surrealistic styles, where I place great emphasis on individual design. I often combine organic shapes with geometric or expressionist elements to create unique, personal works of art on the skin. My goal is to give each tattoo a special depth and expressiveness, making it both aesthetically impressive and emotionally meaningful for the person. The designs can range from simple, clean lines to complex, detailed compositions, depending on the client’s wishes and inspiration.
